Timeshots is Not Going Away...after all is said ...

...and done, I have decided to keep it around in cyberspace for a while anyway. So pictures like this one which, for some reason that I am not able to fathom, is by far the most searched and probably seen of the 'timeshots' that have been posted there.

This picture which I have called saturated spring and also springwoods, is very frequently searched by Google image searches of European and Korean origin. I have not figured out the connection. So connection fathomed or not, it and the dozens of others there will be there for Google to find.

The Original Timeshots is Going Away

editthispage.com, which has been providing free hosting for my Timeshots site has informed me that they will no longer be providing free hosting after December 1st this year. This is not too surprising. So, here is the last picture that I posted there a few weeks ago.

It was just a routine picture of Don and me heading in to Shaws Cove where Don keeps his sailboat CHIMAERA. It was our last sail of the 2005 season.

To mark the coming end of the original Timeshots, here is the first picture that I published there back in the early days of this kind of thing.It's a fairly bad scan of an analog picture taken in Salmon Cove off of the Connecticut River back in 1991 when we used to cruise in my houseboat CHIMERA. Yes, Don's boat which he bought after I sold mine is named after it, more or less. But that's another and longer story.

So, goodbye to Timeshots. Maybe it will still be floating out in that unreal world of cyberspace which I have never fully understood, maybe not. Doesn't really matter though, does it.
